Scholarship Description

This scholarship was established with donations from the University of Melbourne 2006 Annual Appeal and provides an annual allowance for up to 2 years for high achieving graduate coursework students.  

Value: up to $10,000 in total (up to $5,000 per year)
 
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:
  • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen
  • have received an offer for a domestic place in the Master of Teaching (any stream) at the Faculty of Education
  • intend to enrol as a full-time student in the 2025 intake of the Master of Teaching (any stream) 
Application Process
  • complete the following questions and submit any supporting documentation by 11:59 pm 8 December 2024. Late applications will not be considered.
Selection Criteria 
  • eligible applicants are selected primarily on the basis of academic merit taking personal circumstances and other scholarships received into consideration

Please do not apply for this scholarship if you are entering your second year of a Master of Teaching program at the Faculty of Education. This scholarship is for commencing students. Second year Master of Teaching students may be eligible for the Olive Battersby Scholarship.
