Scholarship Description

This scholarship is awarded in the memory of Dr Ken Rowe and supports students taking the Literacy Education specialisation or the Literacies and English specialisation as part of the Master of Education at the Faculty of Education.
 
Value: up to $6,000
 
Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

  • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • be qualified to teach in Australia
  • be commencing or continuing the Master of Education in 2025 and show evidence of enrolment or completion of at least two of the four subjects in Literacy Education specialisation or in the Literacies and English specialisation at the Faculty of Education.

Selection Criteria

  • eligible applicants will be assessed on the merit of their application
  • financial need will be taken into consideration
  • applications must address all questions in the application form
  • if deemed necessary by the Selection Committee an interview may be required
Application Process
  • Complete the following questions and submit any supporting documentation by 11:59 pm 19th January 2025. Late applications will not be considered.
