This
scholarship supports Master of Teaching (Secondary) students to undertake regional, rural and remote Indigenous placement opportunities that are available as part of their program of study. For successful recipients, funding provided will be a contribution towards the cost of the program, rather that covering the cost in its entirety
Value:
- Indigenous placement (Northern Territory) as part of Engaging and Assessing Learners 3: up to $1,800 per person
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you need to be:
- studying the Master of Teaching (Secondary); AND
- been accepted to undertake a regional, rural or remote Indigenous placement as part of your program of study.
Selection Criteria
Eligible applicants will be assessed on academic merit, commitment to the teaching profession, and motivation for undertaking the travel-related program. Financial need may also be taken into consideration.

Conditions of the scholarship
Should your travel opportunity be unable to proceed, or if you are no longer able to participate, you will not be eligible to receive this scholarship and any monies paid would need to be returned to the University.
